TELL 2016

Over 1000 Principals and Vice-Principals from the province took time out of their summer vacation and attended TECHNOLOGY-ENABLED LEARNING AND LEADING INSTITUTE 2016. It is great to see so many dedicated educators learning two weeks before the return to school #TELL2016 #ontedleaders

·         Tony Wagner - http://www.tonywagner.com/807  -encourage play and to have a purpose while integrating the 6 C’s into your classroom

• Tranforming PD for Instructional Leadership by Arlene Aguilar @arlene_aguilar9 and Vickie Morgado @vickiemorgado1  - self-directed PD for teachers and administrators in technologically savvy ways including EdCamp models, flipped classrooms and Genius Hour and explore ways to grow Professional Learning Networks (PLNs) through current technological tools (e.g. Twitter, Voxer, Blab) to suit learning styles and needs. • Rethinking Meetings - Blended Leadership Heather Campbell @HeatherMeadCamp  - consider blending face-to-face and online collaborative formats with clear purpose and intentionality in order to best use the time and talents of the group
